ALICIAS BUSCAN MARAVILLAS
Documentary Theater | site specific
Alicias buscan Maravillas is a very free and unique version of Alice in Wonderland and Alice through the Looking Glass that was written in the 5th Theater Writing Laboratory of the Fundación SGAE. It is also a documentary play for which 30 people were interviewed individually and in groups and a children’s workshop was held at the Centro Dramático Nacional’s festival Una Mirada Diferente. Additionally, it is a site-specific piece for a Madrid park.
It is a voyage through diversity for children from 8 to 88 years old; a questioning of normatives, a hymn to madness, a giant game where the true starring role is that of the public, which enters a world of mentally ill hatters, a blind woman and a dog who are inseparable, and teenagers who tell us what to do.
